This book was just plain annoying to read. The author seems rather full of himself and its really annoying to have his side thoughts in the book. If you have to read it, skip over any bs he adds. Please professors, never choose this book. You will find your students rather annoyed by it. Could we please get a legit AIS book?..ever?
Purchased the book for use in a Master's level class. Very concise writing. At times the author could go into more detail as some of the chapters are too high-level, but overall a very good book. Plus, the book is not as thick as other texts I have used throughout my college career (including another AIS book by a different author).
Very Good
I've been using this textbook for about four weeks now and I must say that is a very good book. The author writes in Avery conversational style, which makes reading much easier. Also, the author includes real world examples, sometimes revealing the name of the company, sometimes changing the name but keeping the story the same. Overall, this is one of the best accounting textbooks I have had so far.
